Netherlands Cancer Registry

This website contains the most important statistics on cancer in the Netherlands that are registered in the Netherlands Cancer Registry, which is managed by comprehensive cancer centre the Netherlands (IKNL). The registration of data in this database is performed by registration employees of IKNL with the exception of the regions Mid- and East-Brabant (registration is done by IKZ).

Data on incidence, prevalence, survival, mortality and risk are included in this website.

Making figures and tables yourself

You can make your own figures and tables on cancer incidence according to localisation, region, sex and age. The data are available from 1989 to 2009. You can compose figures and tables yourself by selecting a tumour in the menu ‘Add selection'. After choosing one or more tumours, the selection can be confirmed by clicking ‘Process'. Then a default figure and table will appear, but the selection can be adapted to your preferences. For more information on composing figures and tables, see the manual.
